There are many accidents happening every day. Why can’t we avoid it?

In Ontario, we have our Occupational Health and Safety Act. (https://www.ontario.ca/document/guide-occupational-health-and-safety-act).The Act is to protect all workers from health and safety hazard on job. All the workplace should be ensuring that the health and safety requirement are met in the workplace. To prevent any accident; plans and training program would be mandatory for all company. Following will be a list of what we could do for a safety work environment.

1.    Plan a health and safety program for all workers.

2.    Train everyone in the company on how to use the safety equipment.

3.    Always keep a first aid kit in every working area.

4.    Update and retrain the employee in every relevant health and safety issue.

For most of the company, there often only have one safety training at the beginning of working period. The longer the employment the information they had received will be less relevant and out of date. If there are new equipment or any changes, the company should keep them updated on the new features. The more time and effort we put on training the less problem in the future.
