How often do you think injuries happens at workplace in Ontario?

In 2015, there were 281 fatalities in Ontario and injuries amounted to 51,570. That is one in every 10 minutes. (http://acuteservices.com/safety-in-the-workplace-statistics-focus-on-ontario-canada/)

From the statistic above, you could see there are way too many accidents happened at workplace in Ontario. I believe we could avoid or reduced the injuries if all the company and employer are more concerned about the health and safety issue at the workplace.

I am currently a first-year college student studying Accounting at Sheridan Hazel McCallion Campus. This blog id made for my Business Communication class. I had always thinking about the health and safety issue at the work environment. This is a good chance for me to talk to you about my thoughts on this issue. In this blog, I will be writing about different type of health and safety at workplace, how we can plan and train our employee to avoid accidents, how we can handle the accident if it occurs, and some healthier choice for the employee.
